Toolbee.com does not profit from collecting data about you
You can view the information we have about you under Settings in the app. Your email address and/or name (which is optional to provide) will not be sold to anyone. We do not collect any other information. It is not allowed to enter personally identifiable information about yourself or others anywhere in the app where it becomes visible to anyone other than yourself. We cannot prevent others from entering your name or other information, but if you discover instances of misuse, you can write to support@toolbee.com so we can address the issue. However, you will need to handle any criminal prosecution yourself.
Toolbee.com collects statistics about the usage, stability, and performance of the various apps, but your personal information is not linked to any data. We do not need it and therefore do not collect it.
This privacy policy may be updated in the future, and if so, you will be notified in advance via email, web, and/or in the app(s).
All data is stored on servers in Europe.
We do not have your password, do not need it, and will never ask for it. In fact, you don’t need a password at all. We recommend using passwordless login.
In short, you can go a long way with good business etiquette and by following applicable laws. If in doubt, you can continue reading below. Here are also some definitions.
Our philosophy:
Toolbee.com reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend or limit accounts involved in any type of fraud, illegal use, abuse of the service, or suspected abuse. No compensation will be paid for the suspension or its consequences. Examples of misuse include, but are not limited to: spamming, hacking attempts, using the app for activities illegal in Norway, attempting to access or modify other users' data, uploading illegal images, etc. Toolbee.com will fully cooperate with authorities to resolve illegal activities. Toolbee.com determines what constitutes misuse and may go beyond current laws. If any part of this text conflicts with applicable law, the law may apply.
Currently, only self-owned domains can be registered for auto-detection of users within the same company. Shared email domains like gmail.com, hotmail.com, online.no, etc., must continue to share the domain with other companies using Toolbee.com. This means that ‘first-come, first-served’ does not grant exclusive rights to the domain. At the same time, Toolbee.com reserves the right to reassign registered accounts with such domains if it becomes clear that the domain is shared/public and not owned or administered by the respective user. No compensation will be paid for such changes. Toolbee.com reserves the right to block insecure versions of the app from accessing server resources.
Toolbee is a SaaS (Software as a Service) where users who exceed certain volumes pay an annual fee for usage. If you fall within the scope of the described free version, you can continue using the app without paying. After a year, we send a new invoice. If it is not paid, we will investigate the reason and may reduce access to read-only access initially. If you no longer wish to continue the agreement, we can close access.
Departments are considered separate entities within Toolbee, even if the email domain is the same. A department is 100% separate from other departments within the same company. A user with address@company.com can only belong to one department at a time but can switch departments anytime if the company allows it.
In Toolbee, additional features are optional and can be purchased as an add-on. Payment is invoiced together with the annual fee or for the remaining fraction of the year (full months) until the next term. There is no requirement to continue with an additional feature next year, and no data will be lost if you discontinue an additional feature.
SLA: Toolbee’s services (such as public web, web app, Android app, iOS app) aim to be available >= 99.99% of monthly uptime. If the server service is down for more than 0.01% of the time in a month (counting from 5 consecutive minutes), we can discuss a price reduction. The SLA does not cover network failures between the user and the server; in such cases, the ISP or their ISP should be contacted for reimbursement. We do not guarantee that services will always look the same, have the same document or data structure, etc., as we continuously make improvements and additions. The warranty does not cover beta versions of the apps.
Toolbee.com only allows the official apps (web, Android, and iOS) for access to the service. If you would like different app behavior, we recommend contacting us to request changes. Any app changes we make upon request will be free of charge for you. If you are considering using web scraping or similar methods to extract data or make changes, we recommend contacting us to agree on an API. This way, you won’t have to worry about whether your methods will stop working one day. 🙂 Additionally, we are very interested in making improvements and customizations to ensure you get the most out of the system!
