Tool categories with icons

each company can upload its own category image

Stock

For example, if you have 50 extension cords and don't want to register each one separately, you can flip the Inventory switch and employees can take out/put in as many extension cords as they want. Or maybe you have some plasterboard in the warehouse? It's nice to see who has taken out/put in sheets, and how many there are actually in stock.

Departments

It is now possible for administrators in the company to split a department. Departments are 100% separated from the «parent company». For example, to separate London and Manchester. The email domain can be the same, so automatic user discovery still works!

Web version

We now have a simplified version of the app here: https://web.toolbee.com

This can be handy if you have a printer connected to your PC: faster to print QR codes. You can run it on the same user you have in the app. If you don't have a password, you can fill in your email and type a new password, and we'll help you with it. Unfortunately, passwordless login doesn't work on the web. (yet)

No longer required for a company domain

This has 2 advantages:

• For those of you who have users with @gmail.com, @hotmail.com and the like, there is good news! We have removed the requirement to have your own company domain (type mail@plumber.com). You can now register your company/organization regardless of which email service you use. • For those of you who have a company domain: You can now invite users from all kinds of domains. So if you have an apprentice, temporary worker, etc. who does not have an email in the company, you can still invite him into the company by pressing Invite user. Users with an email in the company domain will automatically appear in the app, as before.

The next version will be coming soon!

This time we are working on booking options: «I want the trailer on Tuesday». Several themes (colors). There will be other fun things coming too, but we'll save that for later.

Corona-related

Brother reports that the printers we usually sell (QL800) are currently unavailable. It is not out of stock, but they are prioritizing making another model until things normalize a bit. In the meantime, we have updated the store with the model QL810 as a replacement.

Some delays unfortunately, but we will ship as soon as we receive the goods!
